MikroTik Chateau LTE7 ax (S53UG+5HaxD2HaxD-TC&R11e-LTE7) is an enhanced version of the Chateau LTE6 ax router, equipped with the R11e-LTE7 module – the same LTE Category 7 modem used, among others, in the SXT LTE7 kit. It is a dual-band Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) access point with an integrated LTE Cat.7 modem, designed to provide stable Internet connectivity in home and office environments. The device delivers LTE speeds of up to 300 Mb/s downstream and 100 Mb/s upstream, supports 2×2 MIMO and two-carrier aggregation (2×CA). The hardware platform includes four Gigabit Ethernet ports and one 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet port, a USB Type-A port, a microSIM slot, and simultaneous operation in the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands using the 802.11ax standard (with backward compatibility for 802.11 b/g/n and a/n/ac). The router runs RouterOS v7 and supports hardware-accelerated IPsec encryption, advanced firewall rules, and remote management via TR-069.
The unit is based on a quad-core ARM IPQ-6010 processor clocked at 1.8 GHz (64-bit architecture) and is equipped with 1 GB of RAM. This hardware configuration enables more demanding use cases, such as multiple simultaneous VPN tunnels, advanced firewall configurations, and container execution, while maintaining high LTE and Wi-Fi wireless performance. Integrated Wi-Fi antennas provide a gain of 3 dBi in the 2.4 GHz band and 6 dBi in the 5 GHz band. For LTE connectivity, two internal antennas are used, with the option to connect two external antennas (not included). The device can operate as a primary LTE router or serve as a backup connection in case of wired link failure. Power is supplied via a DC jack with an input range of 12–28 V (24 V 1.2 A power adapter included). The maximum power consumption is 21.5 W. Chateau LTE7 ax operates exclusively on RouterOS v7 and does not support installation of earlier software versions.
