The Huawei
AR617VW is a router, a device to which other devices are connected (eg
computer, mobile, TV) either wirelessly or by cable, and to which it shares
access to the Internet. To access the internet, it needs to be connected to a
modem. It connects to the 4G network, which offers significantly higher speeds
than 3G. In order for the device to work at this speed, there must be
corresponding coverage from the mobile network in the area where we are. It
emits a signal at two frequencies, 2.4 & 5GHz. It offers higher speeds than
single band and connection of more devices. The 2.4Ghz frequency is the most
widespread and has a long range. 5Ghz provides faster speed than 2.4Ghz but is
more sensitive to obstacles (eg walls) that reduce its range. This difference
and also its more limited use helps to have less interference from other
