MikroTik SXTsq 5 ax is MikroTik's first outdoor CPE device with Wi‑Fi 6 (802.11ax) support, built into the proven and compact SXTsq enclosure. The device is delivered with a RouterOS Level 4 license, allowing configuration as either a client or multi-client access point. Its compact dimensions (129 × 129 × 34 mm) enable installation in environments with limited space.
The enclosure, made of UV-resistant plastic, is designed for outdoor operation in harsh weather conditions. Built-in mounting rails allow the use of hose clamps in three different positions, including horizontal pipe mounting, simplifying installation on masts, poles or other structures.
SXTsq 5 ax has been field-tested in urban environments with high interference levels, maintaining stable operation over approximately 3 km. Under typical line-of-sight (LOS) conditions, it can reach transmission distances exceeding 10 km, supported by a 16 dBi panel antenna and a maximum transmit power of 24 dBm.
