Automatic voltage regulation
The "automatic voltage regulation" function boosts/reduces the AC voltage when it drops below or exceeds safe levels. This allows the equipment connected to the unit to operate under low/high voltage conditions and maintain battery power in the event of a power outage.
The Easy UPS switches to battery power when the input voltage level is too high/low for the “automatic voltage regulation” to compensate or when the AC power is irregular.
Quick Silence
The APC Easy UPS BVX1600LI-GR is capable of temporarily silencing alarms that require some corrective action from the user, as in the case of battery power operation.
During such alarms, a short press (less than 2 seconds) of the POWER button will temporarily silence the alarm until the problem is corrected.
A short double beep will confirm that the “quick silence” feature has been activated. Pressing the POWER button for more than 2 seconds will turn off the UPS (e.g. in the event of other, critical events).
