RAZER™ Optical Switches
Razer Opto-Mechanical Switches have an optical light sensor inside the switch. With the push of a button, you allow the receiver to be activated by this light signal, instantly activating the switch command. You've never experienced speed like this. They offer faster performance without compromising on the clicky feel. It has the same actuation and reset points as the fast-acting switches found in a linear switch and provides the tactile feel of the best-selling Razer Green switches with less actuation force at 45g. The lifespan of a Razer Opto-Mechanical switch is rated up to 100 million presses, double that of traditional mechanical switches. By using optical actuation technology and a metal key stabilization bar positioned around each switch, there are fewer moving parts and no physical contact during actuation. This reduces switch loosening that occurs with use, making the Razer Huntsman a more stable and durable keyboard that gamers can rely on for years to come.
